Hawk Wins Advanced Technology 2024 Award for Watchlist Screening

Hawk wins XCelent Award

Hawk, the leading provider of anti-money laundering (AML) and fraud prevention technology, has received the Advanced Technology 2024 accolade from Celent as part of their latest report, Financial Crime Compliance Technology: Watchlist Screening.

As the only vendor recognized with the Advanced Technology distinction, Hawk has further established its system as the leading solution on the market. In the report, Celent profiles 22 providers of transaction filtering and customer screening solutions supporting sanctions and KYC processes.

As well as winning the award for Advanced Technology, Hawk also received a Technology Standout Designation in the Celent Technology Capabilities Matrix (TCM). This designation recognizes solutions that “excel in technology modernity”, employing state-of-the-art methodologies.

Tobias Schweiger, CEO at Hawk, said; "This award recognizes that Hawk is delivering what banks and other financial institutions need; effective, flexible screening capabilities that can adjust to an ever-changing financial crime landscape. We’re very proud to be recognized by Celent as the standout performer for advanced technology.”

Hawk was also awarded the Advanced Technology award for Transaction Monitoring in Celent’s AML Transaction Monitoring report in August 2023.

Hawk continued its stellar growth in 2023. Founded in 2018 by finance industry veterans, the company has rapidly scaled globally and currently monitors or screens billions of transactions worldwide. The company’s explainable AI approach has proven to be a game-changer in the industry, enabling financial institutions to drastically reduce false positive rates compared to traditional AML/CFT solutions. Hawk's modular solution can either enhance or replace traditional rules-based systems with AI-powered transaction monitoring, payment screening, pKYC, and fraud prevention in real-time to deliver greater accuracy and reduced noise.
